Dear Readers,

as every year, a few weeks before Christmas, I take the time to review the past year. I look back, think about what worked well, and learn from what may not have gone as planned. I appreciate this end-of-year ritual not only very much myself, but also many of my clients.

Especially after a challenging year, in which we may not have achieved all our goals, this reflection helps us to focus on the many small, often overlooked successes. All too often, we fixate on the big picture and overlook the steps that got us there. But it is precisely these steps that show us what we have really achieved. When we look back like this, we can end the year with satisfaction – and enjoy the holidays much more relaxed. The “mental homework” is done, and you can let go of the year in peace. The readjustment can confidently wait until January.

If you want to take up my idea with the end-of-year ritual, take a little time and focus on these questions:

What three things I’ve achieved this year make me particularly proud?

What have I done or changed specifically to make these successes possible?

What changes has this brought to my life?

These questions put your focus on what works

I know many of us didn’t achieve all of our goals this year. It was a year full of challenges, uncertainties and obstacles. I am also one of those who have not achieved their target goal. But you know what?

That doesn’t mean we’ve failed.

If we take a closer look, we realize how much we have actually moved and achieved. After all, we grow the most through the moments when we make mistakes, are challenged or seem to fail. And who knows? Maybe this year we planted the seeds and did the right things to reap the rewards next year.

Therefore, I would like to encourage you, especially when you feel stressed or dissatisfied: Take time to look deeper. What have you achieved, changed and achieved this year? Are there things that you don’t have on your radar at the moment, but that you can be really proud of?

And then: Please celebrate yourself extensively and enjoy this soothing feeling of pride and contentment with all your senses! This is exactly what end-of-year rituals and especially the festive season are for – to experience, enjoy and consciously celebrate contentment and inner peace! I wish you a lot of joy in realizing how great you are, and a relaxed, wonderful Advent season.

Kind regards,

Yours
Conny Schumacher

If two people do the same thing and one is significantly more successful than the other, there can be many causes.
One is certainly that the successful person makes the best use of his or her individual strength in the right environment.
Then things “slip” as if by magic: everything becomes clear, honest, uncomplicated – and thus more successful.
You don’t understand why others struggle so hard… Do you know your superpower? My superpower is an unerring sense of what to do in the next moment.
Clear, sober, strategic, intuitive, from the gut.
I see the solution, the next step, the path crystal clear in front of me, I literally smell what makes sense next.
I can trust this impulse blindly; he has guided me through many really difficult situations in my life.
It’s not for nothing that I have the nickname “Stehaufmännchen”.
🙂 If I trusted him, he has never misled me.
Sometimes that means doing NOTHING, sometimes waiting, and sometimes it means going full throttle.
I can’t predict it.
He’s just there.
Highly developed through years of survival training on hikes through the desert, over the mountains, in sports and in 30 years of self-employment. How can my superpower be valuable to you? I know from my own experience how difficult it can be to see the next step, especially when you’re in a crisis or feel stuck.
This is exactly where my superpower comes into play and becomes the proverbial “ace up your sleeve”.
I also see the path ahead of me with my clients crystal clear and the steps that need to be taken strategically next out of a crisis.
If you get involved and we are a team, then it saves you a lot of money, a lot of nerves, a lot of strength and many wrong decisions.
You can tell by comments like: “It’s amazing how quickly you caught yourself again” or “I didn’t think you’d be able to do it so quickly”… And of course, you can see it in your measurable results.
However, it only works if we are a team and work together towards a goal – whether it’s getting back on our feet after a wrong career decision or achieving a goal that has not come any closer so far.
I just see it.
I can trust my senses 100%.
I have built my entire life on it.
My superpower is perfectly used wherever I am, live and do business.
Does that mean I never have challenges?
God forbid.
It just means that I won’t let it drive me crazy because I know that I’ll get it back under control quickly. What is your superpower, and how do you use it to your advantage? #coaching #goforyourdream #theartofgettingwhatyouwant #zielesetzenunderreichen #motiation #selbstverwirklichung coaching

“Conny, I’m so sensitive – I get everything…” Women in particular often confide in me that they are “stuck” due to their fine perception and preferences. They then say things like: “I’m not so stubborn in terms of the zodiac sign”, “My human design is not made for this” or “The stars are unfavourable right now, I’m waiting for a better phase”. I also often hear: “My partner/boss/colleague is a toxic narcissist” or “I’m still waiting for the portal days”. When I ask what the worst thing about it is, I hear: “People just don’t understand me” – and that makes me sad and lonely. Understanding and recognition FIRST OF ALL: I take this super seriously. We humans have “presets” and feel vibrations, and women often have a very fine sixth sense, an extremely fine perception. The more we deal with ourselves, the more subtle we become. This means: Of course, we perceive these default settings, disturbances and currents. That can be very stressful, absolutely. I myself have superfine antennae, extremely trained through years of sports and many adventures. I feel things before they happen. So the question is not whether what we perceive is true, but how do we deal with it so that it does not burden us, but is beneficial? After all, fine perception is a great gift per se. Four Steps to Dealing with Fine Perception Here are my 4-step recommendations on how to deal with it sensibly: Step 1: Notice it, acknowledge it – but don’t get stuck in it. So much is cleared up when you trust your preferences and senses. I was extremely enriched when I read my Human Design. I suddenly understood a lot of things that I had always felt but couldn’t grasp. But please: Don’t let this knowledge dictate your life. Consistently carry on in your daily life as if nothing is happening – do what you have to do, even if it is more arduous on some days or with some people than others. Success is achieved by those who regularly do what they need to do. It doesn’t matter whether he feels like it or not. No matter if the sun is shining or not. Step 2: Keep the energy with you. Moods are energy and therefore absolutely neutral. The best way to differentiate yourself is to distinguish between sensitivities and “it really doesn’t work” by directing your attention to yourself. Here’s to YOU! Not on your sensitivities! So instead of telling everyone your story and exuding yourself (your energy), consciously keep it with you. Do what helps you to stay with yourself in the moment – and do it very consciously: meditation, sports, work, being in service for others, going for walks, sleeping a lot, eating something good… Step 3: Use your antennas wisely. Find a job where your antennas can be used sensibly! Because they are there – and if you don’t give them a task, they will always interfere in your life. They need something to do. One that is beneficial to you. Step 4: Transform it! I now use “presets” as an indication of where I have optimization potential. The power of habit and persuasion is strong, but I know that I can change any habits that are not conducive to me. Anyone can do it. So if you suffer from the default attitude “I am/that’s just the way it is” and are not satisfied with it, you can definitely learn to change it. Final Thoughts We often talk about becoming the best version of ourselves. From my point of view, this means: transforming unfavorable habits, preferences, currents and vibrations in such a way that you are more and more “with yourself”. To focus on what needs to be done. Without sensitivities. Do you feel addressed? Then let’s talk….

My friend Yvonne had pancreatic cancer. We’ve known each other for 38 years and she used to be the one who consistently did HER THING. I learned a lot from her concerning: “I make sure I’m doing well.”

Travelling, that was both of our thing. We had already planned a trip around the world when we were students and I can still see the face of the lady in the travel agency when we presented her with our elaborate itinerary… 😊

At some point, Yvonne went through a phase of “not now, later again, if” “that doesn’t work now, you don’t understand it”…

And now… I come back from the desert, full of impressions and learn that she died on Easter Monday. I’m really totally shocked.

I’ve been thinking about posting this for a long time – but I know Yvonne would want it that way. Her last words to me were: “Live your life”.

I really don’t want to scare anyone. But it doesn’t always affect “the others” – and today I am more convinced than ever that everyone knows deep down what they want. Sometimes it’s buried and there are a lot of “YES, BUT’s” over it: pain, guilt, fears, doubts…

I hope that the people who know me will find the courage to tackle these dreams. No matter what the circumstances are! Because there are always paths between black and white that open up when you open yourself.

By the way, I don’t promise you a quick transformation. I trust much more in a healthy, broad foundation of deep insights, transformative insights and effective skills that brings you stably into your inner power. You go from being a plaything to a creator and that gives you a lot of freedom of action and the leeway to deal calmly with life’s challenges. Because where the basis is right, there is no limit to the variety of developments.

My friend Sabine has pancreatic cancer. We’ve known each other for 38 years, and she used to be the one who consistently did HER STUFF. I learned a lot from her concerning: “I make sure I’m doing well.” Traveling was both of our thing. We had already planned a trip around the world when we were students and I can still see the face of the lady in the travel agency when we presented her with our ingenious itinerary… 😊

At some point, Sabine went through a long phase of “I’ll do it all if…” And “you can’t do that now, you don’t understand it”… She had chosen a different life and was super consistent in it. It is certainly not for me to question her decision or to point fingers. Nevertheless: I deeply feel for her and I dont even want to imagine how she feels when she sees my pictures from South Africa or Namibia…

I don’t want to scare anyone. But it’s not always just “the others” who are affected.

I just wish everyone who feels addressed that they don’t wait too long to take their inner voice seriously. And today I am more convinced than ever that everyone knows deep down what they want. Sometimes it’s buried deep down and there are a lot of “YES BUTs” covering it … pain, fears, doubts… But honestly, folks, none of this is a reason NOT to do it. I’m also terrified of snakes and I’m still going to the desert!

I truly wish that the people who know me will find the courage to face their dreams. No matter what the circumstances are. There are always ways. Paths between black and white that open up when you open yourself. I believe in this because I have experienced it myself and continue to experience it.

If you want to know how I managed to go from “broke and frustrated by Covid” to “I’m living my dream and traveling the world as an entrepreneur with a 6-figure annual income” in two years, then I invite you to my free masterclass. You will learn about the challenges I had to overcome and which skills helped me the most. I’ll reveal one of these skills this evening.

We got into conversation at a wine tasting – South African wine. He was standing behind the counter, couldn’t leave – and I told him that I wanted to start my world trip and my heart project – to fund women with knowledge and skills – in South Africa.

Hendrik found that interesting. Listened. Asked questions. Even read my book – a women’s book!

Hendrik is a shareholder in the winery in South Africa. Among other things. That’s all I knew at the time. Like all managers, he is well trained. On his own, he says little…

He likes my approach of not just pulling out my wallet, but conveying entrepreneurial thinking, promoting personal responsibility and bringing people to their greatness, passing on knowledge and skills that demonstrably make a difference in life as well as in business. I am convinced of them, they work well for me and my clients. But in the (German) economy, they are still the exception. Even if everyone demands it.

He becomes my most important supporter, provides me with valuable contacts, ideas, invites me to South Africa…

He wants to know my “big picture”. Because that’s what he stands for: Without purpose, there is no success. You have to be convinced of what you’re doing with every fiber of your being. Only then will you develop the strength to make it happen. I am convinced that women can have a much better life if they are trained, have entrepreneurial thinking, communication skills and education. And I want to find ways to get that to them. That’s why I wrote ISAYAS EYES, that’swhy I founded the community ISAYAS DREAMERS– and that’s why I’m touring South Africa. This is a project close to my heart. That’s what I’m convinced of and that’s what drives me to do all these crazy things. My purpose!

In Germany, I was often ridiculed as naïve. I am all the more pleased that I have found a comrade-in-arms here in Hendrik, who has proven on a large scale with precisely these approaches in business that it works!

Hendrik has set up the structures in Africa for a globally operating group. He lived in this country for five years. He has played a large, if not invaluable, role in the transformation and success of the company. He has already “refloated” several companies. In other words, he knows the soul, the dynamics and the needs of the market – and the employees. His purpose was to involve people – and to succeed as a result.

When he talks, it sounds like something out of a manager’s storybook. He has done exactly what all large corporations demand, but often can’t get beyond talking: Trust-based empowerment of ALL, none-hierarchical thinking and collective itelligence as a basis for development. He brought all parties to the table and listened first. He has identified where things are stuck and has found solutions that work for everyone.

He motivated the employees, gave them incentives, hope, opportunities and confidence. His employees identified with the company and I’m pretty sure they went out of their way for him, their charismatic boss. This proves what I’ve always thought: the demand for intrinsic motivation for everyone is nonsense. Instead, we need human, approachable AND competent superiors – and all in one person, please. Someone like Jürgen Klopp. After all, we live from the recognition of others. THIS releases energy and spurs us on to get the best out of ourselves.

Hendrik reminds me a bit of Kloppo. He has given his employees dignity and self-worth, defied conventions, sensitivities and old structures – and thus created enormous economic success. He has proven that you can be incredibly successful with incentives and people-oriented business. In Africa!

I’d like to ask if he doesn’t want to go into German politics – but I think I already know his answer: Too cumbersome. He wants to make a difference – “make big things”. That’s what you can do in Africa!

His purpose is to make South Africa strong. He wants to support companies and increasingly start-ups in their development and he will do this through his successful method of “creating attractions” instead of serving regulations and subsidies. And he wants to provide people who want to invest in South Africa with an interesting alternative with secure returns.

South Africa has a bright future – I agree. There is a gold-rush atmosphere here. It’s worth getting involved here. For a better, stable, livable future – for everyone. Win-win, as the saying goes. Especially if you – like Hendrik – know how to do it.

So: If you want to think outside the box in Germany or Europe and invest, rock and make a difference in South Africa, an up-and-coming, real country of the future – Hendrik is your man…

I talk a lot about mindset and skills, about life and basic principles that can make one, if not THE decisive difference. They are often underrated, difficult to learn, and do not replace strategy or technique – but they are secret weapons in dealing with success.

If you know it and use it for yourself, you won’t want to miss it. And that’s exactly what I try to achieve through my coaching. To illustrate the benefits, today I publish a story from the category SUCCESS STORIES OF MY CLIENTS – and this story really happened! I only changed the lady’s name for reasons of discretion.

Sabine is the manager of a large craft business. Their annual target is 4.5 million euros – and at the beginning of December, 350,000 euros are still missing. She is already very satisfied. “Oh, that’s fine,” she says during the coaching.

But I know what such statements do to us: If we don’t take our own projects seriously, we lose confidence in ourselves. Then it no longer makes sense to set a goal. And a well-chosen goal setting is one of the most effective tools when it comes to growth of any kind.

So I told her that I, as her coach, don’t let it stand. That we don’t lose sight of the goal now. We run to the finish line full of energy and don’t think about which place will come out of it. We don’t drop out before we think we can’t win anyway. Otherwise, we’ve already lost.

It’s enough to just keep at it. Keeping the energy high. She allows herself to be convinced, motivates her team and asks everyone to think about how the missing €350,000 could be mobilized.

And guess what: they have achieved their goal. In December, a few smaller orders actually came in. Sabine could hardly believe it.

Such experiences change three things:

When you have overcome such a hurdle, you no longer believe in the power of thought – YOU KNOW IT! – and you can use them for yourself.

You experience a jolt in terms of “commitment”. Taking yourself and your plans seriously becomes a priority – because NOT doing it has a high price!

With such successes behind them, you can push boundaries and tackle bigger tasks with confidence. The key to growth!

Notice: It’s not the size of the task. It’s not just the technique or strategy, either. Both have to be right. But in the end, your mindset, your ability to keep the energy high, decides whether you achieve your goal – or not.

If you have something in mind and doubt whether you can achieve it – then let’s talk. I am an expert in KEEPING ENERGY UP… 😊
